The Ideal candidate should have hand-on experience in all Tax matters. The candidate should be able to handle all the tax, statutory and regulatory compliances of the company independently.
Skills Profile
– Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in handling all Tax matters of a manufacturing related
company.
– Batcheler’s degree, Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka/ ACCA or any other recognized
professional qualification.
– Prior experience in handling matters with Inland Revenue and other statutory authorities.
– Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations and RAMIS system.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
Job Profile
– Ensuring that all transactions entered by the company comply the tax and regulatory
provisions applicable in Sri Lanka.
– Handling all VAT matters and ensuring that all VAT liabilities are accounted, payments are
made, and the returns are filed on or before the due date.
– Handling all other tax matters such as SSCL, Stamp Duty, WHT & PAYE returns and ensuring
that they are accounted correctly, payments are made, and the returns are filed on or before
the due date.
– Handling the Transfer pricing Audit requirements of the company in consultation with the Tax consultants.
– Ensure all submissions and payments are made on time to avoid penalties.
– Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all banks and keep proper records.
– Handling all tax matters regarding the internal and external audits.
