Senior Production Executive (Foundry) (Colombo 14)

In order to meet the ambitious growth plans, the Group is looking for dynamic individuals who are result oriented to fill the above vacancy existing in our EDNA Engineering — Foundry division, located at Mawanella.
Job Description:
• Steer overall performance of the casting process and quality
• Be responsible for the routine maintenance, changes to existing foundry tooling and machine shop
• Maintain tooling to optimize production efficiency, ensure dimensional accuracy and minimize scrap and rework
• Generate casting and pattern quotations for potential new projects
• Actively pursue cost reduction opportunities
• Be responsible for capacity and material requirement planning
• Work with existing tooling as well as CAD design work, and being hands-on on the foundry floor
Qualifications and Experience:
B.Sc Engineering [mechanical/ production /materials] degree with 2 years relevant experience or NDT/NDES or equivalent with 5 years experience
Proficient with CAD software preferably as AutoCAD/Solid works/ ProE, and MS office applications will be an advantage
