DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Plan and implement preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.
– Record downtime and breakdowns, collect and manage job cards for all machines and equipment.
– Organize repairs and corrective maintenance for production machinery in consultation with the Factory Manager.
– Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to reduce failures.
– Initiate continuous improvements to minimize plant breakdowns.
– Calibrate and maintain measuring and testing equipment on a scheduled basis and keep records.
– Monitor spare part needs and promptly notify procurement based on programmed activities and operating conditions.
– Set up and operate packaging machines, ensuring accurate code dates and weights and minimizing packing material waste.
– Reset machines and clear jams; troubleshoot machine malfunctions on the production floor.
– Planning, Reporting and Improvement
– Assist in preparing department KPls and budgets and contribute actively to new projects.
– Assist implementation and sustainment of manufacturing excellence programs and tools.
– Prepare reports for management as required.
– Maintain factory buildings, machinery, and equipment and report defects with remedial actions to the Factory Manager.
e Promote safety and motivate subordinates by recognizing performance and developing talent.
– Demonstrate punctuality, loyalty, organization, attention to detail, and professional appearance.
– Work collaboratively with managers to establish and implement company policies and procedures.
– Be prepared to work long hours on the production floor when needed.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
– Degree in ( Mechanical)
– Experience in more than 5 years in Mechanical/maintenance field
– Experience in FMCG,Food & Beverages Manufacturing
