DevOps Engineer (Sri Lanka)

Responsibilities:
– Minimum degree requirement of a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, information Technology or equivalent experience
– 1+ years of hands-on experience working as DevOps Engineer or Network Engineer.
– Comfortable on the command line of Linux boxes (EC2)
– Analytical/Problem-solving skills
– Experience with Cloud computing (AWS & GCLOUD)
– Familiar with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Envoyer etc)
– Experience with Linux OS
– Knowledge of databases and SQL queries
Requirements:
– Manage releases for production and testing environments
– Use project management software(JIRA) and Code repository(Git) to track releases
– Perform root cause analysis for server errors
– Investigate and fix issues with infrastructures
– Set-up and monitor alerts for core services
– Work with dev team and operations team to ensure proper training is conducted for releases – Write basic scripts to fetch data for internal use
– In-house IT admin support for the tech team.
