Customer Assistant/Data Entry Operator – Part Time (Sri Lanka)

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot windows operating systems and applications for production, development and test environment.
• 24/7 support of production servers to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by business systems.
• Provide system administration function systems including server administration, automation, patch management, capacity / log monitoring, clustering and replication.
• Responsible for the security of server management applications and systems.
• Generate and publish required reports/ dashboards as required.
• Comply with all processes and policies rolled out.
• Monitor and perform backup and related processes for servers.
• Ensure calls / emails arc responded as per SLAS defined.
• Escalate unresolved issues/ requests to the appropriate teams, including research groups, Microsoft support, vendor support etc.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the all windows server operating systems concepts, Domains, active directory and i. concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network and application software.
• Microsoft certification such as MCSE. [MCSE : Windows Server Infrastructure 2008/ 2012]
• IT degree or similar qualification in recognized institution.
• Hands -on working experience in MS Windows 2000/2003/XP/vista/Win 7/Win 8, MS Office 2000/2003/XP/2007/2010/2013, Antivirus utilities, performance management utilities.
• Good Knowledge in Networking, Internet Protocols.
• Minimum 2 years’ Experience is required.
