Responsibilities
– Prepare. analyze, and present financial statements (balance sheets. income statements. cash flow statements).
– Maintain and update general ledger.
– Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
– Prepare and file tax returns (income tax. VAT/GST or any other applicable).
– Reconcile bank statements with company records.
– Budgeting and financial forecasting.
– Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
– Provide financial advice and report results to management.
– Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.
– Internal and external audits.
– Perform ad hoc financial projects and administrative tasks.
– Manage the team.
Qualifications and Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Atleast 05 years of accounting experience of similar capacity.
– Proficiency with accounting software (e.g.. QuickBooks. Sage. or similar).
– Strong knowledge of financial regulations. accounting principles. and tax laws.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Qualified in ICASL or academic qualification mm accountancy.
– Accounting related computer literacy qualifications are essential.
– Leadership skills to drive a team for achieving goals.
