The ideal candidate will essentially;
– Be very sharp with an analytical mind to ensure accuracy of financial statements
– Have multi-tasking skills
– Be able to manage and perform under stressful conditions
– Have very good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Sinhala
– Have very good inter-personal skills
– Understand and be able to adjust and adapt to corporate culture and company protocols
The applicants are expected to possess following minimum qualifications and experience.
– A degree in Accountancy from a recognized university with minimum of 5 years’
experience as an Accountant (in a Group of Companies overseeing multiple subsidiaries is preferred though not necessary); and/or
– A fully qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum of 5 years’ post qualifying
experience; or
– A fully qualified CIMA or ACCA graduate with 5 years’ post qualifying experience
– Good computer literacy with ability to produce professional reports, analysis and presentations.
– Experience working with TALLY accounting software package will be advantageous,
though not essential.
Salary negotiable.
