Manager Human Resources

A leading Industrial Engineering export oriented company situated in Gampaha District (close to Minuwangoda area) requires appropriate personals for following vacancies.

Job Responsibilities:

– Interprets and implements HR policies, practices and company philosophy to ensure effective administration of the HR System.
– Implement the strategies to maintain the employee retention / absenteeism and the strategic focus on all the other HR functions
– Works with managers to help define and clarify roles and responsibilities. Partners with management regarding department organization and staff responsibilities to ensure effective utilization of resources.
– Reviews job descriptions and provides guidance and feedback regarding levels.
– Ensures consistency of levels across client groups. Partners with Corp Compensation to level positions.
– Oversees recruitment function for the businesses /oversees the performance management process / Handles employee relations issues in a timely and effective fashion / Handles Payroll related issues.
– Ensure consistency of ongoing performance appraisal process. Educates management regarding the appraisal process and performance measurement criteria to ensure consistent application of the programs.
– Maintains accuracy of personnel records and data with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
– Responds to employee inquiries, issues and problems relating to compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, etc. and ensures timely and appropriate action.
– Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

First year monthly salary would be Rs. 40,000 and attractive incentive for meeting HR KPls.

Job Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree/professional qualifications or equivalent experience required.
– 3+ years of HR experience.
– Prior experience working with Manufacturing Company is preferred.
– Prior experience working with HSENID is definite advantage.
– Prior experience working with ISO System is definite advantage.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
– Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to influence key decision makers.
– Must be collaborative and diplomatic, able to build consensus.
– Must possess solid critical thinking/reasoning and demonstrate sound judgment.
– Effective communication and persuasive skills are required.
– Strong analytical abilities needed.
– Strong organizational skills highly detail oriented. Able to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
– Current knowledge of employment-related legislation required.
– Solid understanding games or software development preferred.
– Strong computer skills – proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
