Who We Are
We are a multi-national company in the tourism industry providing travel services in Sri Lanka and other Southeast Asia destinations. We are developing a unique travel website dedicated to Asian destinations, targeting international clientele.
The website will be launched very soon.
Job Description:
The Operations manager is responsible for managing the developing the supplier data base in Sri Lanka and other Asian destinations. Our suppliers are travel agents, hotels and transport companies. You will also work closely with sales consultants and customer care specialists to handle all bookings of packages.
Reporting to: Managing Director
Responsibilities:
– Build an international supplier data base, initially with Sri Lanka
– Manage suppliers: supplier training, quality control and pricing/contract negotiations
– To manage quotations and booking requests from other team members
– To closely monitor Suppliers in order to make sure that they provide error free services to guests
– Supplier selection, supplier visits and validations
– Staff Management
Requirement:
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhalese
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in the tourism industry
– Experience in handling ground operations (transport, hotels)
– Management experience
– Highest integrity
– Computer and internet sawy
Preference:
– Knowledge in ticketing
– Other language fluency
