JOB DESCRIPTION
Making income/expense entries into the accounting system. Entering Sales orders, paying bills
and creating invoices for the clients Prepare financial information such as accounts,
reconciliations and cash flows that help the decision-making of senior staff. Fluency in Sinhala, Tamil & English is an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Managing general account’s, receivables
– Monitor unpaid & late payments in debtors list
– Maintaining spreadsheets & documentation work
– Credit control
– Sales order processing
– Managing daily post in and out
– Petty Cash
– Handling and writing cheques & Banking activities
– Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payments
QUALITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
– Above 18 years of age
– GCE A/L Passed
– Reading in CA/ACCA/CIMA or AAT (Added advantage)
– Proficiency in IT (Added Advantage)
– Having excellent written and spoken communication.
– Having high attention to details.
– Being proactive and self motivated.
– Having IT skills.
– Being able to work with a team
– Having interpersonal abilities.
– Being able to work under pressure.
– Having math skills.
– Being friendly and tactful
– Being organized
