Telephone Operator cum Receptionist (contract basis)

The Person

MSL Ref No:6975

O Should possess minimum 06 subjects with 5 credits at G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in not more than two sittings. Obtaining credit passes for Mathematics, English and Sinhala/Tamil is compulsory.
O One years’ experience in the relevant field is preferred.
O Should be below 25 years’ of age.
O Should be able to converse fluently in English, Sinhala/Tamil.

The Job:

O Handle all incoming telephone communications, noting reasons for call and forwarding to relevant team members, subject to availability.
O Provide excellent customer service as per company policy and procedures.
O Resolving customer queries promptly within company guidelines, before escalating to higher level if necessary.
O Attend to customer needs, understand their requirements so that maximum numbers of enquiries are handled quickly and forwarded on responsibly.
O Maintain an up to date knowledge of personnel and procedures.
O Deal with ‘drop in’ customers as quickly and proficiently as possible, by coordinating with employees and customers.
