Quality Assurance Executive
A leading ISO 9001:2008 certified herbal drugs manufacturing company having island wide distribution, seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic individual for the post of Quality Assurance Executive for their production facility at Puwakpitiya, Awissawella.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Routine Inspections and release of all incoming material such as packing materials, Bulk products and imported finished goods.
• Batch review and release.
• Inspection and disposition of Market Returns.
• Routine Calibration of measuring equipment’s.
• Ensure adherence to ISO and GMP policies and procedures.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices, Safety rules to create/ maintain a good and safe working environment.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of material and products by managing QA functions efficiently.
• Ensure proper maintenance and Good Housekeeping Practices are followed in the Department.
• Engage in new product development and R&D activities.
• Deal promptly and effectively with routine Quality Incidents/Deviations and give feedback to production Manager/Superiors.
• Assist and coordinate with the procurement department for timely and effective actions required to resolve packing material quality problems.
• Assist and co-ordinate preparation of lab scale and production trial batches.
Education and Experience:
• Relevant professional qualifications are a must.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Minimum A/L Mathematics or Science background.
• Experience in similar field would be an added advantage.
