Assistant Manager Human Resources
Scope
• Provide support to the Chief Operating Office, ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness of The Human Resource function
• Develop and maintain positive wok culture on a well-defined plan to enhance motivation and retention of staff members
• Manage recruitment, selection and on-boarding process
• Manage performance, staff welfare and recreation
• Handle the payroll process and HP record keeping
• Ensure application of discipline according to company policies procedures and local legal provisions
• Manage Conflict, handle grievances and provide support to all members
• Conduct training need analysis and cans out capacity-budding based need
• Assist in developing appropriate Human Resources policies and procedures and ensure strict adherence
Profile
• A minimum of 2 years, experience in a similar capacity
• Sound academic background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business Management or a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources (Preferably IPM)
• Thorough hands-on knowledge of all aspects of The Human Resources function
• A high level of creativity, innovation and attention, to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform duties with minimum supervision
• Excellent and spoken communication skills in English Sinhala. Ability to converse In Tamil will be a distinct advantage
• Proficient In MS Office
