Accountant (Sri Lanka)

Job Requirements:
– Male candidate
– Age below 35 years
– A bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance from a recognized university or any other professional qualification such as CASL, CIMA or ACCA
– Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant in a manufacturing industry
– Computer literacy in advanced MS excels and word
– Understanding of Accounting principles, taxation, product costing, investment appraisal and
statutory requirements
– Hands on working experience in ERP system especially SAP — B1
– Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
– Preference will be given to candidates who are residing around Pannala or who is willing to
relocate to Pannala / Kuliyapitiya area
Job Role:
– Preparation and supervision of financial statements, variance reports and other
management reports
– Timely closure of monthly accounts and presentation to the Management
– Timely submission of statutory payment/reports and ensure compliance with statutory
requirements
– Check and authorize bank reconciliation and control accounts
– Tax planning and compliance with tax regulations
– Attending the stock count along with Finance and operations team.
– Check and approve day to day payments
– Ensure proper maintenance of records documents
