Accountant
Basic Function
Record, Analyze and report a company or individual’s financial status. Keeps accurate business transaction in ledger and than records them on financial statements monthly, quarterly and yearly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Perform daily book keeping duties including data entries
– updating of ledgers, bank reconciliation, debtors and creditors aging, invoicing, receipts, payment voucher
– Supervision of the input of financial data and extraction or reports from the company’s automated Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) system
– Handle Petty Cash and Banking
– Attend to VAt, SVat and other Tax related mailers
– Supervision of Stores and handling outlet stock verifications
Essential requirements:
Qualification / Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
– Minimum 5 years experience with selling Generators and / or Air Conditioners and / or Elevators
– Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers
– Knowledge of principles and practices of sales and customer service
– Proven ability in achieving sales targets
– Strong negotiation and organization skills
– Be adaptable, persuasive, self-motivated, driven and gal driven
– Need to resilient and stress tolerant
– Fluent English and Sinhala-written and spoken communication
