Accountant – Corporate Sector (Colombo)

ideal Candidate:
1. Fully or partly qualified in ICASL or CIMA with more than 5 year’s post qualifying experience.
2. Excellent Communication, interpersonal, analytical and time management skills.
3. Highly organized, structured and deadline oriented.
4. Excellent knowledge of accounting & financial principles with knowledge of Quickbooks.
5. Preferably male candidate below 40 yrs, who resides in Colombo or its Vicinity.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Preparing financial statements for local and foreign companies.
2. Preparing relevant management reports.
3. Knowledge in budgeting and forecasting.
4. Liaising with banks, auditors and tax authorities.
5. Knowledge in handling procurement process.
6. Full responsibility of the payment process including fund transfers for local and foreign.
7. Knowledge in payroll process including EPF/ ETF/ Payee payments & returns etc,.
8. Knowledge in personal taxation and all the other local taxation.
9. Knowledge in handling administration functions.
10. Any other tasks specified by management from time to time.
11. Preference will be given to candidate who work in a company manufacturing software or involved in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
