Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
CA/CIMA Member or Finalist.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance.
Experience in a listed company.
Exposure to ERP implementation would be a definite advantage.
Experience in the power industry is a plus.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Should be able to work with minimum supervision.
Self-motivated to meet targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all finance related transactions.
Prepare and publish consolidated. monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements within deadlines in line with IFRS.
Manage and comply with all tax and other regulatory (CSE/SEC) requirements.
Monitor internal controls.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances in compliance with IFRS and Group policy.
Oversee and coordinate the external audit process and annual report.
Managing cash flow and liaising with banks.
Training and assessment of annual KPI review of team members.
