The Role:
This will be an interesting role for you if you would like to expand into new horizons in Wireless Engineering in the
Telecommunication industry as this role will include key responsibilities such as:
– being responsible for UMTS / LTE RAN products including RNC, NodeB, e NodeB commissioning, integration, testing and troubleshooting
– performing upgrades, routine inspections, and system diagnosis for the live network
– being responsible to designing and implementing the technical solutions for wireless products
(LTE/UMTS/GSM)
– troubleshooting hardware and software issues and identify network/applications issues.
– being the point of contact for technical matters for the internal teams, customer and vendor
– going above and beyond to support clients to deliver tailored experiences
– preparing regular management reports to internal and external stakeholders
This role would match your profile if you;
– possess a professional background in Telecommunications with a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in
Telecommunications/Electronics
– have hands on experience in the wireless domain with minimum of 2-3 years industry exposure and have a natural passion in the subject
– have knowledge and experience with LTE, UMTS wireless technologies and network infrastructure
(eNodeBs,) and protocols (SIP, $S7, TCP/IP). Good understanding and knowledge of IP protocol & networks is preferred
– are a motivated individual who can achieve shared goals and results by sincerely providing a helping hand to others
– are a result-oriented team player who has the ability to create a work environment which sparks focused
