PEAK Colombo has contributing to its global IT strategies since 2013 January and going through rapid phase of growth and are looking for enthusiastic and intelligent professionals to join our team.
We are looking for a talented Senior engineer to join our growing team of Software Engineers in Colombo.
Job role:
The role will require you to perform the following duties:
• Design, develop, implement and test software systems
• Provide advisory to overall project
• Enhance and improve existing software
• Close liaison with stakeholders to scope requirements and receive feedback on solutions
• Commit to deadlines and provide a high standard of documentation
• Work independently to and within a team to deliver outcomes on time and within budget
• Ensure technical solutions are in line with business requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
• Computer science or Software Engineering Qualifications
• Experience with ASP.Net, C# with NET framework 3.5 or above.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries
• Experience with web services, WCF or REST services.
• Exposure to WPF will be an advantage
• Exposure to tools such as nUnit, Code Metrics, Style cop, Jenkins, Resharper and Github will be an advantage
• Estimation skills and experience
• Strong technical documentation skills
Skills and Attributes:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and personal productivity skills
• Ability to interact with business and other technical resources effectively
• High standards of customer service
• Willingness to travel for work purposes
This role will suit a developer with at least 4+ years work experience looking for an opportunity to work on with cutting edge technology in team of skilled developers based in Melbourne as well as Colombo.
