Senior Java Software Engineer (Sri Lanka)

We seek the best Software Engineer to join the team at B Sharp Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd., a software product company specializing in the development of health care clinical documentation and workflow systems using an in-house built MVC J2EE Framework and many open source development tools.
You will have a strong dedication to the latest existing and emerging technologies.
You will drive to design and develop innovative Java solutions, from new and existing code.
Requirements:
– 4+ years Java / J2EE Software Engineering experience developing Web Database enterprise Level applications
– Experience working with Spring Framework
– 4 + years experience in SQl/T-SQL Programming and troubleshooting
– Knowledge and experience in relational database design
– Experience with MS SQL 2005/2008
– Experience with J2EE MVC Framework(s)
– Experience with JSP, Custom Tags and JSTL
– Experience using Ajax and JavaScript Libraries such as Extjs
– Experience working with JasperReports
– Demonstrated experience with the Java Servlet Containers and Java EE Application Servers (i.e Tomcat 6+, WebLogic)
– Experience with software versioning and revision control system (i.e CVs, Mercurial)
Desired:
– Healthcare Domain Experience
– Ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers
– Experience working in a distributed team environment, especially with team members in off-shore sites
– Experience working with Web Services (RESTful, Soap)
– Experience with the Drools rules Engine
– Experience with MySQL 5 +
– Experience with ANT, Jenkins CI and Velocity
– Experience using the Mondrian open source OLAP Engine
– Experience with Linux or Unix Operating Systems (i.e Open Solaris)
– University/Community College degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent an asset
