PHP Developers (Sri Lanka)

We are looking for dedicated PHP Developers to join our rapidly-growing team. We want coders who are comfortable with MVC, SQL, HTML, CSS and jQuer, but most importantly: who can craft PHP code that is well-designed, clean and error-free. We’re after developers with strong skills and solid experience, who are passionate about learning new skills and best practices.
You will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle (requirements gathering, development, testing and launching), and will work closely with our architects and business development team to produce the highest-quality products.
Responsibilities:
– Write clean, well-structured code
– Troubleshoot, test and maintain the existing code and databases, providing optimisations and bug fixes
– Follow instructions precisely and question anything that is unclear
– Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
– Improve and maintain existing code and processes
– Follow industry best practices and coding standards
Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years of commercial software development experience in (OOP) PHP
– Experience with MVC frameworks, such as Codelgnitor, Zend, Symfony
– Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax
– Proficiency with Linux and Apache
– Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
– Experience using version control systems (preferably Gil)
– Experience in developing with third-party APIs (REST SOAP, etc)
You will be required to complete a short coding test using our MVC framework.
