Marketing Manager / Business Development Manager
We are an education and migration consultancy with an international presence and whose head office is based in Australia. We have been operating in Sri Lanka for 10 years, and are now expanding and opening a new office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Now, more than ever, we have a need for an experienced Business Development Manager to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the sales and marketing activities of the organization.
Tasks & responsibilities include:
1. Formulating and implementing all organisational sales and marketing policies and plans across the company (advertising, sales, promotion, marketing and PR) in consultation with the CEO.
2. Ensuring KPis are reached on a per month basis based on annual sales forecast set by the CEO.
3. Advertising and promotions planning and management with CEO and Managers.
4. Setting sales methods and arrangements, including price-setting and credit arrangements.
5. Coordinating branded literature and point of sale material and its implementation at stakeholder organisations (e.g. education institutes and Australian High Commission).
6. Coordinating information for events and promotions.
7. Networking and generation of leads.
8. Responsible for regular updatesto existing and potential clients regarding new products, promotional activities.
* You will be responsible for two offices in Sri Lanka and report to the CEO.
* You will be presentable, proactive and have a “never say no” attitude with strong communication and team building qualities.
* You will represent the company in the best possible light in the public arena.
* You will have a degree in a relevant field and/or at least 5 years relevant work experience.
This position is available for immediate start.
Attractive Salary will be negotiable as per your experience and skills.
