service, and increase clinician productivity.
The traction of our SaaS product is met by our passionate colleagues working in our London, Texas and
Colombo offices. This vacancy is based in Colombo where our engineering and application support teams are based.
Responsibilities:
– Design secure, high-volume, and high-availability products and middleware systems to address business needs.
– Provide technical leadership and be accountable for the products owned by the delivery unit.Be hands-on in all the technical aspects of the deliveries.
– Conduct code reviews and ensure code is of the highest standards.
– Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies, tools, and practices.
– Coach and mentor the team members of the delivery unit.
– Assist DevOps practice to setup CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
– Possess a minimum of 5 years of work experience working with Java microservices and related technologies.
– Live and breathe OOP/OOD fundamentals and design patterns.
– Expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/fBatis, JAX-RS, Spring Cloud Netflix, etc.
– Thrive in SQL and NoSQL database design, REST API design, microservices design,
and containerized application (Docker, Kubernetes) design.
– Experience working with message queues and distributed streaming services (Kafka/Kinesis).
– Experience in AWS will be an added advantage.
– Good understanding of architecture and design principles.
– Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
– Excellent communication skills with good command of English.
