Health & Safety Manager
Your key responsibility will be ensuring a hazard & accident free work place by inspecting and evaluating the environment, equipment & processes, whilst complying with statutory and ISO requirements, industry standards and best practices.
Also you should identify potentially hazardous biological, chemical and radiological materials and recommend corrective actions/controls to protect employees, customers and environment. Moreover ,you will be entrusted with identifying the training needs and educate employees through training to develop them to be a safety & health conscious workforce.
Successful candidate should possess a Bsc degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university along with a minimum of 3 years experience in the similar capacity.
Hands on experience in standard safety and environmental activities such as work permits systems, contractor management, evacuation and fire drills, PPE usage and waste management systems in a large factory environment.
Knowledge in safety certification, safety audits and ammonia refrigeration system related safety activities will be an added advantage.
