Deputy Manager Operations

We are looking for a passionate person who can handle the subordinates to manage the workload in a stressful environment. also to identify new cost reduction and Profit Maximizing strategies and to encourage subordinates to some up with new ideas…

You will have the overall operational and strategic responsibility for the entire operations of our new expansion with a workforce over 2000. (Eg: Human Resources and Administration, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, Merchandising, Planning, Sampling, Cutting, Embroidery, Printing, Sewing, Packing, Etc.)

– Excellent command of English and Outstanding personality
– Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Apparel manufacturing industry (Exports) with at least 5 years’ experience in Knitwear sector.
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity with a proven and successful track record along with a very good reputation.
– Degree in Textile Engineering or any equal Professional qualification.
– Exposure to Japanese Management practices like 6S, Lean manufacturing would be an added advantage
– Age below 45 years
– Sound knowledge in the Industry is distinctive

The remuneration package will be attractive and negotiable.

Plant Manager

Ideal candidate need to manage the respective plant, provide advice and guide the team on technical or product related aspects whilst directing the team to achieve the set production objectives effectively.

– 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity
– Excellent presentation and communication skills in both English, Sinhala and Computer Literacy
– Should process strong Administration and Leadership qualities to motivate shop floor and work force towards triumphing organizations ultimate aim
– Tremendous Knowledge in overall Management Functions to identify and eliminate non value adding activities in the process
– Recognized professional qualification in Production , Process Control from any Textile or Apparel Manufacturing
Institution

Planning Manager

Manages all aspects of capacity planning by the optimum utilization of plant capacities at assigned business units to achieve plant efficiency targets whilst meeting customer delivery deadline.

Key responsibilities will be as follows:

– Preparing Loading plans to manufacturing units by utilizing optimal capacities.
– Should Maintain Zero idling and Zero feedings at manufacturing units.
– Closely monitor the line statues, whilst working with manufacturing units.
– Should monitor the Fabric 84 Raw material statues in an effective and efficient manner.
– Closely monitor the PCD’s of new styles as well as running styles to deliver feeding on time to manufacture units.
– Should be able to direct deal with Buyers.
– Qualification
– Degree or Diploma in recognized university,
– 10 Year’s hands on working Experience alone with 05 years Managerial.
– Experience in Merchandising would be an added advantage.
