Assistant Manager – IT Services Delivery
Crosspoint Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, is Sri Lanka’s premier data capture solutions provider with backing of prestigious supply partners such as Zebra Technologies (formally Motorola Solutions), VASCO Data Security Solutions and Miebach Consulting (Warehouse Management Software Solutions).
Due to rapid growth of our market share, we are in the process of expanding our business strength and looking for a dynamic, proactive and well experienced person who could lead our engineering team to go to the next level.
Your key responsibilities but not limited to following:-
– Effectively plan, coordinate & manage all IT technical service tasks and solutions to the customers
– Administration of workshop related activities, lead a small team of technical personnel, process improvement & standardization, introduce innovation & build relationship with internal & external customers
– Work closely with Sales team to provide pre-sales & technical support for all solution related projects & prospects
– Direct involvement in wireless, barcode, mobile computing & RFID solutions design & their implementation.
– Direct involvement on IT technical service matters when required
– Handling AMCs, warranty process & directly deal with foreign principals on all software & hardware related technical issues
– Submission of weekly engineering performance & activity reports to senior management
Ideal candidate will have:-
* NDT — Electronics or equivalent qualification in Electronics or IT engineering
* CCNA or Diploma in communication, structured and wireless LAN infrastructure
* Minimum of 5 year experience in IT hardware operations/support relating to PC’s, wireless networking equipment & Printers
* Experience in actively involving in IT technical solution selling
* Good personality Presentation & Communication skills (Oral & written English)
* Open for new ideas & flexible thinking
* Prior experience wireless network products, barcode, mobile computing & RFID solutions will be highly desirable.
