We are a Leading Inbound Destination Management Company Situated in the World Trade Center, Colombo. The Organization is also a Major Stakeholder in the Hospitality Industry.
Post of Assistant Accountant / Accounts Executive
Should be able to provide, Maintain High standards in Accountancy Discipline, ideally require a candidate who posses at least 3-5 years experience working in a reputed organizational environment.
Expected Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
• Chartered Accountancy Fully / Partly qualified
• Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
• Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management
• Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning
• Reconciling bank statements
• Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE
• Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow
• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Communication
Skills:
• Computer literate
• Good English Language skill
• Highly motivated with enthusiasm and committed team player
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Coordinate with other Operational departments
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Methodical and a Mature Temperament are Essential to the position
