Our client, a well-established research Company is in search of a Trainee Research Analyst
Job Role:
Trainee Research Analyst for a period of 3 months commencing February to April 2014 and it will be extended based on performance.
Research Analysts gather, review, analyze, and present data to help move forward the Company’s various initiatives.
As part of the team you will:
Collect and synthesize data from a variety of secondary and primary sources, and effectively communicate your findings and insights to the project team (verbal and written)
Bring your expertise in secondary data collection and analysis to the table. This requires the ability to think
creatively in the face of “hard to get data” as well as a solid set of Excel skills in order to clean up, analyze,
and present data
Learn how to draw meaningful insights from primary and secondary data, working with the Company consultant to structure presentations with clear storylines and conclusions using PowerPoint or Word
Profile:
– Undergraduate degree preferred. Candidates with outstanding A/L results and school record may be considered
– 1-2 years of research and/or project development experience will be an advantage
– Superior written and verbal communication skills in English are a must
– Resourcefulness, willingness to conduct phone-based research, and the ability to interact successfully with a wide range of people
– Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions well and juggle multiple project tasks under tight deadlines with
little or no supervision
