Systems Administrator Wanted (Sri Lanka)

As a Systems Administrator at Aeturnum, you will mainly responsible for the installing, supporting and maintaining servers and other components of IT Infrastrucuter while maintaining the Performance, Integrity and Security.
Job Description
– Installation, configuration and maintenance of system servers and related components.
– Fine tuning of various business application servers to achieve high performance.
– Provide technical support to all levels of users in the company as well as its clients when necessary
– Developing internal procedures and standards related to IT infrastructure
– Should have good knowledge on server management in various distributions (Eg. Linux, Solaris, Windows)
Skills Required
– Hands-on experience with Unux operating systems
– Hands-on experience with MS Windows Operating Systems (desktop and server editions)
– Knowledge on web Servers such as Apache/Tomcat, WebLogic
– Knowledge on Shell Scripting (BASH/ksh) Must be a good team player
– Network security experience, including working knowledge of SSL and especially HTTPS
– Cloud computing – Amazon AWS, Rackspace
– Ability to design and clearly communicate network topologies thot ore scoloble ond secure
– Understanding of system backup procedures
– Good knowledge on LAN concepts ond network hardware
– Must be a good team player
– Results-oriented
– Ability to multitosk in a demanding environment
– Good communication skills
Optional Skills (an added advantage it the candidate has these)
– Knowledge of SDLC build. integration and deployment tools highly desired
– Experience with server management software/appliances and server virtualization such as VMWare
– Knowledge of major RDBMS systems such as Oracle, Postgres, MySQL.
– Experience with other major Oracle software components such as Oracle Linux. Solaris and Oracle Middleware/Commerce Solutions
– Knowledge on Project management/Tracking tools and portal solutions eg. Jira, RT, SharePoint etc.
Education and Experience required:
– Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Information Technology/Networking or any other related degree
– Professional Qualifications such as RHCE / RHCSA will be an added advantage
– 2 ~ 3 Years of experience in similar capacity
