Colombo Courtyard a modem, urban boutique hotel in the heart of Colombo, encompassing 32 rooms together with 3 Restaurants and 2 Bars, seeks an experienced .

The Selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Food production to achieve highest possible quality of food, whilst reducing food cost.
• Assisting the Team to maintain high standard of food quality, hygiene and safety.
• Maintaining sufficient stocks in the stores and ensuring the quality standards of all food items purchased at all times.
• Identifying the health hazards in the kitchen department and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene levels of all Kitchen areas.
• Assisting in controlling and minimizing food wastage and ensuring that costs are maintained as per the budget and monitoring staff adherence to proper food handling methods.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction by handling guest complains and special requests while adhering to brand standards.
• Assisting in menu planning and employee training and development.

The Ideal candidate should posses a certificate in cookery from a recognized Hotel School with 7 years experience of which a minimum of 3 years at executive capacity.

Remuneration will be in accordance with industry standards.
