01. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Job Summary:

Provides technical assistance in the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation, systems for programs, develops capacity among local partner in a programme monitoring and evaluation, carry out various M&E activities related to programs, align M&E activities according to the donor requirements and promotes networking with programme stakeholders. Position will be based on in Trincomalee and frequent travel to the filed within the district and out of the district.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or higher level degree preferred and / or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum 5 years of prior experience in the similar field Demonstrate experience in programme planning monitoring and evaluation, reporting in development sector organization. Working in child-centered organization programme designing and implementation experience including working with community – based organizations and managing field staff
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English. Fluency in local languages (Sinhalese and Tamil ) required
• Experience in organizational communication aspects and reporting is required
• Experience in strategic planning approaches including need assessment, baseline surveys programme designs, logical framework & indicator matrix development, implementing monitoring plans and coordinating project evaluations.
• Experience in data collection, analyzing and report generating (both quantitative and qualitative) including participatory work with children and community High computer proficiency including the thorough understanding on statistical analysis packages and Microsoft office software applications (word, excel, outlook)
• Demonstrating skills in training in order to developed capacity of field staff on M & E

02. Programme Officer — Special Education Development Project

Job Summary:

Responsible to contribute for proposal development, implementation and achieve the targets to have the required impact in the working villages with the provision of specific technical assistance’s. His / her mandated task is to ensure that the enrolled children are having the access to quality education along with the well-beings. He / she needs to support the strategic direction of the CDF for long term sustainability while promotes networking with programme stakeholders. Position will be based in Trincomalee and frequent travel to the filed within the district and out of the district.

Qualification and experience:

• Diploma / Higher Diploma in the relevant fields & University Degree will be an added advantage
• 5 years of prior experience in the education development projects
• Demonstrate experience in programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, reporting in development sector organization. Working in child-centered organization programme designing and implementation experience including working with community — based organizations and managing field staff
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English Fluency in local languages (Sinhalese and Tamil ) required
• Experience in the project development and implementation of special education projects with success results
• High computer proficiency
• Demonstrating skills in training and capacity development of field staff preferred

Remuneration and benefits:

• Salary and the attached fringe benefits will be depends on the qualifications and experience in line with the market rates of non-governmental sector.
