Orit, the leader in the Denim Apparel Industry in Sri Lanka is a company which serves globally renowned clothing brands that are admired the world over. The plant network consists of the Central Plant at Seethawaka consisting of the Cutting, Washing and Finishing Plants and seven other plants. The Testing Laboratory at our Central Plant at Seethawaka which was recently accredited by Levi Strauss & Company now has a vacancy for a skilled Laboratory Technician.
Your Key Responsibilities in this role will include carrying out testing according to AATCC/ASTM/ISO standards and following up on obtained test results with the related internal and external customers with proper records / proof under the supervision of the Lab Manager, participating and obtaining certification for annual Laboratory Accreditation programs..
The ideal candidate we have in mind should be a goal oriented innovative team player who possesses at least a Diploma /Certificate in Textile Testing or equivalent and at least 1 years’ experience in the same field of work with ASTM/AATCC/ISO standards or Buyers in-house test methods.
The successful candidate will be an energetic and motivated team player with excellent convincing abilities plus excellent monitoring and guiding skills and a knowledge in the use of MS Office and email definite advantage.
