Factory Engineer (Sri Lanka)

Key Responsibilities
– Carry out routine maintenance and breakdowns.
– Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues.
– Monitor and control maintenance costs.
– Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
– Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
– Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
– Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
Competencies & Attributes
– B.Sc. Degree in Engineering or NDT.
– Minimum 5 years’ in similar capacity experience.
– Coconut processing industry experience and UHT experience would be an added advantage.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Organizational and leadership abilities.
– Active and dynamic personality and the passion to work in a methodical manner would be a definite plus.
– Age above preferably 35 years.
