The Organization:
BMI is part of the Berendina Group which is a partnership of people who are determined to eliminate poverty in rural Sri Lanka through innovative best practices of microfinance, small busniess / employment strategies as well as by providing social protection to the most people, such as the handicapped and elderly. The Organization consists Microfinance Institute (Gte) Ltd, Berendina Development Services (Gte) Employee Center and Berendina Micro Investment Company Limited.
BMI has 18 branches spread across the Sri Lanka with over 66,000 clients and outstanding of Rs: 1.6 Billion with a repayment rate of 99% and provides loans interest rate than any private sector Microfinance organization and also ensuring sustainability of their business ventures by providing requisite skills of through its Enterprise Development Services (EDS) initiative.

Qualifications:
• Ideal candidate should have a bachelor degree preferably in Agriculture or Enterprise Business Development or related disciplines or
• Diploma holder preferably in Agriculture or Enterprise /Business Development with more than one year experience in relevant field.
• Age preferably between 25 — 35 years.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English writing and speaking ability
• Should be a person who wants to develop the career in Enterprise Development.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel & Power Point).
• Experience in Enterprise Development and Livelihood Development will be an added advantage
• Willing to visit filed based on needs
Salary: Negotiable and market based attractive remuneration package will be offered depending on qualifications and experience. Please indicate your current salary on the application.
