ROLE PROFILE:
– Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams/ manuals
– Undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure
– Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting
– Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute
– Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, CCTV, Access control and other electrical systems
– Identifying errors and rectifying them in automated/PLC systems
– Maintenance of spare parts
PERSONAL PROFILE:
– Followed a three years’ full time industrial course attached to an accredited vocational training institute
– Proven experience as an electrician for at least 2 years in a manufacturing facility
– Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools and electrical drawings and blueprints
– Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
– Excellent critical thinking and problem solving ability
– Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work
