Accountant oversees the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the group finance functions are organized. efficient and produce accurate financial and management accounts.
Duties Include:
• Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team.
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
• Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
• Preparation of monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheet.
• Timely preparation of statutory and internal financial reports.
• Financial modeling and analysis.
• Cash management and treasury functions.
• Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
• Overseeing the Payroll process.
• Tax planning.
Qualifications:
• Fully/Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Minimum of 3 years experience. (manufacturing sector experiences added advantage).
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Sound business acumen and flexibility to relate to different stakeholders whilst balancing.
• The importance of the audit function.
• Proven ability to guide and manage a team of subordinates.
• Good Communication skills.
• Computer literate with good excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles.
Successful candidate shall receive an attractive performance based remuneration package on par with market rates.
