Windows Dot Net Developer-Evening Part Time Basis
We are looking for an experienced part-time Windows .NET Software Developer to join our team to manage our existing applications and websites and to work on our new and exciting projects. You must be highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and can work on your own or in a team. Easy travel distance to Mt Lavinia / Ratmalana would be an advantage. Must be able to work up to 21 hours per week during the hours of 1.30pm — 10.00pm Mon-Fri and 1.30pm — 7.30pm Saturday.
The candidate must have:
• Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience in asp.net and C# as a web developer.
• Outstanding skills in C#.NET and MS SQL 2008
• Widespread Knowledge in MVC, Object Oriented Programming (OOP) & Design Patterns
• Extensive Knowledge in Html, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript (flash is an added advantage)
• BSc in either Computer Science, Computing, IT or Software Engineering
• Would be an advantage if you have a background in Maths at the Ordinary Level, Advance Level, Diploma, ICT, etc. and CCNA (Networking), MCSA (Server Configuration) or MCSD.
• Knowledgeable, innovative and efficient with the latest web trends and SEO
• Should be able to manage a Windows Server 2008 environment and IIS 7
• Highly fluent in applications such Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Fireworks
• Being creative, think out of the box, self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude
