Web Project Manager

Wellspring is a fast growing web development firm serving clients in the United States. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled project manager with the right attitude.

The candidate we are looking for is expected to understand technology and its capabilities, but should always keep our clients’ mission, goals and deadlines first and foremost. Relentlessly striving to exceed client expectations, multi-tasking, setting priorities, ability to adapt to change, and keeping sight of budgets are critical aspects of this position.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working online and grasps new ideas quickly. Efficient and professional communication and the ability to make sound decisions for clients is a must. Daily management and communication within the team to get the decisions, support, and results needed are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Be a point of contact on a daily basis and maintain progressive relationships with clients.
• Work with clients to understand current and upcoming needs, set expectations, define scope, goals, deliverables, budget and timing. Develop and communicate detailed project plans and processes. Keep clients informed of status/milestones, resolve issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
• Work closely with management, development team to validate project scope, identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
• Organize and prioritize projects and daily tasks while managing the workload for team members.
• Clearly communicate expectations, guide and motivate team members.
• Recommend tools and implement best practices for project management (Waterfall, Agile-SCRUM methodologies)

Requirements:

• Attitude to champion client satisfaction excellence, reach world class standards in what you do, collaborate effectively and achieve constant growth.
• 3 – 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in a web development firm or comparable technology company. Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical/software architecture background preferably in PHP, ecommerce systems etc.
• Excellent communication skills, very strong spoken and written command of the English language.
• Degree/ equivalent qualification in project management, business, or a web design/development field will be an advantage.
• Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure and work long hours/ night shifts if/ when necessary, accomplish tasks with frequent interruptions, and meet deadlines.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and effective time management skills are a must.
• Outstanding problem solving skills with the ability to utilize strategic and analytical thinking.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to build close working relationships, interact with team members to find collaborative, team-driven solutions to problems.
