We are on the lookout for Technical Consultants / RandD Engineers
As a RandD application development engineer you’ll be responsible for supporting both internal and external clients learn the new products through documentation, training and producing demo applications and sample code with the use of best practices.
We are looking for result driven, creative individuals who understand business processes, love to program, love technology and have a high level of commitment to their work.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a challenging, dynamic environment and collaborate closely with our teams in New York and Colombo.
Responsibilities of the position will include:
– Building demo applications and sample code
– Training and mentoring developers bot internal to TradeCard and external clients/business partners
– Creating documentation and training materials
– Provide input increasing effectiveness of the product
– Communicating with multiple parties including clients to understand their needs
– Tackle challenging functional and technical Problems
– Working in a team and accomplishing group objectives
– Ensuring compliance with relevant company standards and guidelines
Experience, Qualification and Requirements:
– A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute
– 5+years of experience in Java
– 2+ years of JavaScript development experience
– Extensive hands-on experience with web services (RESTful Web Services and REST based APIs preferred)
– A strong understanding of business software and a demonstrated ability to implement complex business processes
– Mobile platform development (iOS, Android) is strongly preferred.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.comfortable speaking with members of the business to understand their needs
– Ability to work independently with unwavering professionalism and high productivity
