Rinstrum is an innovative designer and manufacturer of weighing systems. Head office located in Brisbane Australia with wholly owned subsidiaries in Reinheim Germany, Troy Michigan USA and Negombo Sri Lanka.
The Global Production hub for Rinstrum is located in Negombo Sri Lanka and works closely with the Design and Finance teams in Australia. The Sri Lankan Design team and Production team; design and manufacture Rinstrum product for distribution to hubs in Australia, United States and Europe with direct coordination with Australia Design team and other hub members.
The Production facility Rinstrum (Pvt) Ltd in Negombo is a BOI approved company which was established in 2012. We are looking for an energetic individual to be part of our growing team. Product Data Management Engineer is part of a team of design staff, who are primarily engaged in the development and support of products for the weighing industry.
Our Product range include:
– Digital weighing indicators
– Platform and bench scales
– Custom loadcells and strain gauge based sensors
Post of Product Data Management Engineer
– Responsible for global product data management, which involves raw material, sub-contracted part data management and Bill of Material management.
– Products and parts data are stored and maintained by company ERP system, which needed to be updated and maintained with collaboration of design team.
– Successfully complete new stock code creation, amending existing stock codes, new BOM population and amending the BOMs.
– Successfully manage component obsolescence.
– Preparation of product manuals, data sheets, work Instructions and quality documents.
Requirements:
– High level ERP knowledge on an integrated and widely used system.
– Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical engineering is preferred.
– High level electronic and mechanical component specification knowledge.
– Experience in Manufacturing industry preferably in electronics.
– Ability to read and understand technical documents.
– Sound knowledge in Microsoft application Excel/Word.
– Excellent written and spoken English communication skills mandatory.
