KPMG is on the look out for a well experienced, dynamic and committed personality to join one of their prestigious who are Clients in the field of heavy equipment sales in the West African Coast, in the above capacity.

Job Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for the overall operation in the construction division.
• Administrate and monitor the project implementations and project staff.
• Plan and schedule projects, quality control and quality assurance aspects of the projects.
• Check authorization of tenders, contract documentations and selection of sub-contractors.
• Prepare physical layout for all construction projects and coordinate with the Project Manager to administer and maintain all contracts and purchase orders and prepare an effective work schedule.
• Oversee all engineering processes in construction projects and provide subject matter expertise as per requirement.
• Perform regular tests on procedure to ensure compliance to all regulations and evaluate all designs and drawings before implementation.
• Identify and resolve all technical issues in construction process, prepare effective schedules and appraisal reports to be submitted to relevant officers.
Required Competencies
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. A professional license in a related field and a MBA is an added advantage.
• Demonstrate good understanding of related government and industry standards, codes and requirements / experience in large scale project with high complexity and mix is desired.
• Carry a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior capacity in the relevant field.
• Be a team player below 45 years of age, with strong leadership qualities, interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Be detail-oriented, carry good trouble shooting skills, while being able to work on deadlines.
