Assistant Accountant

We are seeking an extremely driven individual, with high energy, deep passion, and perseverance to win, as Assistant Accountant for our Head Office in Colombo 04.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Liaise with external auditors and engaged on annual audit
– GL &BS accounts reconciliation
– Reconciled STL/PCL & LTL balances
– Preparing Bank reconciliation
– Update month end period/Month end entries
– Process group cost allocation (HO cost allocation)
– Inter-company / group reconciliation
– Off set and follow up supplier advances
– Prepare recovery schedule for Dialog
– Maintain FA register
Essential Qualification / Exposure
– Partly qualified Chartered or CIMA.
– Sound skills in evaluating ROI on all financial decisions
– Ability to negotiate with finance providers – local and international
– Financial Accounting background and strong controls/ governance background i
– Good exposure to ERP systems and managing global businesses
