An international NGO based in Colombo is seeking an experienced candidate and invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the above post.

Desired Profile:

This is an important support function in a small and busy team of six persons. The position is for someone with relevant administrative experience and an interest in the non-profit sector. The Office Administrator is responsible for daily administrative and financial functions of the office. She/he is the first entry point to the organization for all external contacts and contributes to the successful implementation of the organization’s mission. She/he is reporting to the country director.

• She/he must have at least five (5) years’ work history, including relevant administrative and financial experience.
• Ability to follow office policy and financial procedures of the organization
• Good IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages
• Familiarity with requirements and procedures of Sri Lanka Government NGO Secretariat, and Sri Lanka Government Employment System
• Ability to effectively time manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to manage e-filing system Remuneration will depend on qualifications and experience.
