Vacancy for a Local Quality Responsible

Roche Products Colombo (Pvt.) Limited (subsidiary of F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., Switzerland) is currently expanding and looking for a Local Quality Responsible

In your role as a Local Quality Responsible, you will report to the Head of Medical Affairs and your main responsibilities will be:

• To oversee Quality activities across the affiliate.
• Lead and manage the strategic and operational performance of the QMS at Affiliate Level, ensuring the successful delivery of quality strategy, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives, whilst adhering to regulatory compliance.
• Leads the QMS strategy to ensure the highest standards, ensures accurate reporting to Senior Management on the status of GCP/GVP compliance across the affiliate and regular updates to regional quality leads.
• Lead the Implementation and continuous improvement of a Quality Management system to ensure that risks are adequately controlled in accordance with current requirements
• Foster the implementation of a Quality Culture in the Affiliate based on the concepts of Continuous Improvement
• Enable affiliate to comply with Company, industry and local regulatory requirements for quality by assisting the Affiliate in assessing the risks and needs and support the implementation of standards and processes, driving continuous improvement, alignment, common understanding and knowledge sharing.
• Is capable of working at a regional and global level.
• Is capable of influencing and challenging senior management on key quality issues.

You are a graduate in science or a biology related field, at least 1- 3 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical company with expertise in quality assurance and handling inspections and audits, knowledge of GCP/ GVP drug safety and risk management is preferred. You have a good command of English, both written and spoken with a passion for achieving results.
