Customer Service Executives

HSBC Group Service Centers provide support to HSBC customers across the globe. They are the largest, captive, banking and financial services offshore organization in the world and an important constituent of the HSBC Group. They present in 7 countries, with 20 Group Services Centers and over 36,000 skilled professionals.

Job Description:

– Acquire knowledge on client’s products and procedures.
– Efficiently handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve overseas customer queries.
– Electronically process data and respond to customer queries pertaining to banking transactions from client’s offices across the globe.

Age limit:

– 18-25 years of age.

Skills Required:

– Excellent English written & oral communication skills.
– Ability to interpret and handle complex numerical data.
– Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
– Flexibility to work in shifts.

Academic Qualifications:

– Minimum of6 passes at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination including a minimum of a credit pass in English and a pass in Mathematics.
– Minimum of 2 passes (Main Subjects) at the GCE Advanced Level Examination. (General English at A/L is not considered as a main subject.).
– A Credit pass for General English at GCE (A/L) can be accepted as an alternative pass for not securing a credit pass in English at the GCE O/L.
Or
– 6 passes at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination including a minimum of a credit pass in English and a pass in Mathematics with 1 year work experience in any field.
Or
– 6 passes at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination including a pass in English and Mathematics with a Professional Qualification and/or a Degree in the English medium.

The duration of the Professional Qualification should span for a minimum of 1 year.

Experience:

– Experience in customer service in any industry will be an advantage.
