Accounts Assistant (Colombo)

The position required someone who is detail oriented, comfortable working with numbers, reports and sound knowledge in accounting principles.
Candidate Profile:
– Full or partly qualifications in AAT or equivalent qualification
– Minimum 1- 2 year experience in accounting or similar capacity. Experience in an audit firm will be an added advantage
– Hands on experience in SAP is an advantage
– Self-motivated individual with an excellent communication skills in English (oral and written) and master in Microsoft Office -Excel with a basic IT knowledge
– Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
– Ability to work in a team environment
Key Responsibilities
– Sending daily customer billing requests to head office in Dubai
– Booking daily cash collections to the ERP system (Cash receipts)
– Customer account reconciliation
° Processing TT payments
– Assist head office in Dubai to complete monthly bank reconciliations
– intercompany accounts reconciliation
– Supporting the daily finance related for month end /quarter end closing
