Accounts Assistant

The Candidate
– AAT Qualified or part qualification in CA, CIMA
– Atleast 02 years of experience in accounting back ground
– Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and team working
– Excellent command of English, Sinhala and tamil or any other language proficiency would be an added qualification.
– Ability to correspond and communicate independently with vendors / customers
– Computer literacy is compulsory
– Knowledge in import / Export would be an added advantage.
The Role
– Process Company staff and workers’ payroll, employee loans and overtime
– NBT/VAT/SVAT report generation and EPF/ETF payment processing
– PAYE processing
– Banking activities and reconciliations
– Assist the Accountant in evaluating financial reports and data
– Process accounts receivable settlements, payable and reporting
– Assist the Finance team in month end finalization
– Perform internal auditing of petty cash and main cash floats
Inexperienced candidates will be considered for a “Trainee Accounts Assistant” position.
