We are on the look-out for a competent Accountant for our client which is a leading company that is based in Colombo 04.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and present the Balance Sheet
Develop and manage monthly and annual budgets
Oversee cash flow management to ensure financial stability
Handle daily stock management and month-end stock valuation
Negotiate financial facilities with banks to optimize funding solutions
Conduct daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
Prepare import costing and manage LC/TT applications for smooth import operations. Coordinate with auditors and finalize the year-end audit
Conduct debtor meetings and manage debtor collections effectively
Candidate Profile
Age below 40 years
Degree in Accounting/Finance or final qualification in CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA
Minimum 05 years and above experience in a similar role and minimum 02 years and above experience in Audit firm
Experience in the automobile industry would be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Experience in stock management, import costing, and bank negotiations
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, Decision making and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge in ERP systems / Accounting packages
Computer Literacy in MS Office
Excellent in English is a must with Sinhala is essential (Tamil being an added advantage)
Should be focused, energetic, Dynamic, innovative and self-motivated personality who will go for an extra mile and be a part of growing business
Preferably candidates reside in Colombo or near area for easy commute
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience to the right candidate.
