Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
1. Relevant postgraduate qualifications in international development, project management or business management
with a minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role.
2. Demonstrable strong organizational, administrative, business development and financial management skills and
the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
3. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, diplomacy, facilitation and influencing skills to support the building of and effective team and in establishing and maintaining relationships with Government of Sri Lanka and other key external and internal stakeholders across a diversity of cultures.
4. Demonstrated monitoring and evaluation experience.
5. Knowledge and experience in OHSW, Child Protection, Gender in Development, quality and continuous improvement
systems and process, project management and reporting systems.
6. Fluency in spoken and written Sinhalese and English
Desirable:
1. Operational knowledge of volunteer programmes in Sri Lanka
2. Demonstrable experience working in an international organisation in Sri Lanka
