CAL Partners is the investment banking and wealth management subsidiary, with CAL Securities the stock brokering arm. CALP seeks to hire high achievers to join our Brokering division to take our operations to the next level for which we require self-motivated individuals to join our team.

– Should be pursuing the Certificate course in Capital Markets conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Sri Lanka.
– Raw intelligence, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic are more important than specific academic qualifications.
– You will need to demonstrate an interest in the stock market and a business, finance or economics degree, or qualifications such as CIMA would be an added advantage.
– An aptitude for selling and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
– Good oral and written English skills are required.

Specific Duties

– You will be working within CAL Securities institutional and high—net—worth sales department
– You will be given full on-the-job instruction supported by CAL’s proprietary training courses.
– Assist senior sales persons with their client management and selling duties.
– Over time, you will build your own client base and will be expected to call clients diligently to update them on CAL research and to set up meetings and conference calls between clients and CAL analysts.
– You must provide timely updates on the market and on individual stocks.
